Rohingya Ai
Rohingya Ai bot
Rohingya AI is a knowledge assistant and digital archive project built to make Rohingya history, culture, identity, and community knowledge easier to access, learn from, and cite.
The project is designed as more than a chatbot. It is a living library built from history books, academic papers, articles, reports, photographs, testimony, and archival materials related to the Rohingya people. The goal is to let anyone ask questions about the Rohingya and receive answers grounded in real sources instead of guesses or invented information.
I created rohingya.ro as the public-facing home for the project, presenting the vision of a Rohingya history assistant that can answer, cite, teach, and help create useful outputs such as documents, slides, scripts, and lessons. The platform is positioned for students, researchers, journalists, educators, humanitarian workers, and anyone encountering the Rohingya story for the first time.
The long-term vision is to gather scattered Rohingya knowledge from books, archives, reports, articles, photographs, and oral history into one searchable digital system. Rohingya AI connects with RohingyaLanguage.org as part of a broader effort to preserve, digitise, and strengthen Rohingya language, history, and knowledge online.
